This policy explains how we deliver the book and art prints, what it costs, how long it takes, and how exchanges work.
1. The book — South Africa
- Collection: free, in person, in Kloof, Durban. We'll email you within one working day of payment with a collection time and place.
- Delivery: a flat fee of R100 anywhere in South Africa, sent by courier to the address you provide at checkout.
- Despatch time: orders are shipped within 1–5 working days of payment.
- Tracking: a tracking number is emailed to you once the parcel is collected by the courier.
2. The book — outside South Africa
The book is available worldwide through Amazon (print and Kindle) via Amazon KDP. International orders are fulfilled and shipped by Amazon, not by us; their delivery times, fees and policies apply. From our Get the Book page you can pick your local Amazon store.
3. Art prints — collection
- Collection is free, in person, in Kloof, Durban.
- Prints are produced to order and are ready for collection in 5–6 working days from payment. We'll email you when yours is ready.
4. Art prints — delivery
- Large-format prints are fragile and require specialist packaging, so delivery is quoted per order.
- When you choose delivery on the prints page, you submit your address and contact details. We then email you within 2 working days with the packaging, delivery cost and timing before any payment is taken.
- Once you accept the quote, we ship via a courier suited to the size and value of the order.
5. Risk and lost parcels
Risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery. If your parcel is lost in transit, let us know within 7 days of the expected delivery date and we'll lodge a claim with the courier and arrange a replacement or refund.
6. Exchanges
- If your book or print arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of receipt and we'll arrange a free exchange or replacement.
- We do not offer exchanges for change of mind on art prints, since they are produced to order.
